This week’s monthly training focused on one of the most critical skills in emergency medicine — managing a patient’s airway and breathing. Our Emergency Medical Technicians and Aides trained alongside our Paramedics to become more familiar with various airway management techniques and how to effectively assist during an R.S.I. (Rapid Sequence Intubation) — a life-saving procedure for patients who cannot control their own airway.
